Absolutely none of this is desirable to me. When I attempt to use the app to unsubscribe or report it as spam I am informed that the information is based upon my apparent likes. From the very beginning I have been bombarded with promotional spam e-mail that I am not able to report as spam or unsubscribe from. Now do to this “downgrade” certainly not an update/upgrade they’ll be plenty busy dealing w people like me calling in, getting nowhere, and being told nothing can be done and the developers did it and it’s a done deal and feedback can’t be provided to them. Seems to me taking away good features only helps 2 groups of people - tech support and customer service. Some times “old is better” as is the case here. As I said, it was fine before and now it isn’t. I’ve no idea how those who aren’t so tech savvy will figure this out.

I’ve also tried numerous times to “update” my information on the website and app as well but it just tells me over and over that there was an error with my request. I have gone to the website to look several times to see if it’s just a glitch/bug with the app and it does the same thing. It doesn’t tell me what my current statement is, or show me any of my past statements.

But for some 2 months now when I log in to the app it tells me my account information is not up to date and needs to be updated requesting that I sign out and sign back in in order to update it which I’ve done several times. I do understand that there are times when the mobile app can not be accessed due to maintenance and so when that issue occurs I go to the website to pay my bill or I just wait until the app development team has finished maintenance on the mobile app. I’m not sure why but I’ve had spectrum this and internet services for quite some time, and due to that I’ve had the spectrum mobile app downloaded on my phone to easily pay my monthly bill.
